The project comes to its end

Mar 25, 2024

The “Inclu-ageing” project, born out of a commitment to develop non-formal education materials aimed at empowering ageing adults, promoting their inclusion, and enhancing their social participation, will reach its end on 31.03.202 after a productive journey.

At the heart of the project’s triumph lay the collaborative efforts of the Consortium, which orchestrated transnational meetings throughout its duration. These gatherings served as arenas for partners to review progress, strategize upcoming steps, and ensure the excellence of outcomes. Through collective deliberations and shared insights, the Consortium harmonized its endeavors toward meeting project milestones.

Through the project deliverables, such as the Toolkit, the Parental Education Guidebook and the educational videos, the Consortium covered essential topics such as cognitive and physical skills, social support networks, and physical health. These deliverables aimed to enhance caregivers’ abilities to provide effective support to ageing adults with disabilities, especially through the HUB in which being trained and find all the resources.

A notable contribution of the project was the involvement of stakeholders and beneficiaries during the pilot test in each country, to evaluate what the Consortium produces.

The cross-cultural context also found expression in the policy recommendation report, outlining national and regional laws supporting adults with disabilities and their relatives/caregivers.

As the project progressed, it culminated in its final conference held in Warsaw, marking the end of a fruitful journey. The conference provided an opportunity for partners to showcase project outcomes, receive feedback, and engage with stakeholders from the disability field.

In conclusion, the Inclu-ageing project stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation in addressing the needs of ageing adults with disabilities. Through its comprehensive approach and dedication to empowerment, the project paves the way for a more inclusive and supportive society for all.
