Feb 12, 2024

Recently concluding its final consortium meeting in Warsaw, the Inclu-ageing project reached a significant milestone with the successful final conference organized by The Maria Grzegorzewska University (APS) on January 31, 2024. This collaborative endeavour has united partners from the diverse countries of the consortium, fostering discussions and implementations of policies that support families and caregivers of ageing individuals with disabilities. The global impact of the project is not only evident in its tangible outcomes but also in the collaborative spirit it has instilled among participating nations.

The consortium meeting, held on the 29th and 30th of January, focused on the finalization of crucial tasks, comprised finalizing the Policy Recommendation Report, the pilot test of the HUB and project deliverables, encompassing the Toolkit and Parental Guidebook.

Both the consortium meeting and final conference provided opportunities for partners to delve into the external impact of the Inclu-ageing project in each participating country. Discussions allowed for a detailed examination of the project’s deliverables and their implications for the ageing population with disabilities. This collaborative approach not only enhanced the quality of project outcomes but also fostered a deeper understanding of the diverse needs and challenges faced by ageing individuals with disabilities across different cultural contexts.

As the project moves forward, the focus is now on the pilot phase, actively collecting feedback from each country involved. This input will contribute to refining and improving project deliverables, ensuring they meet the specific needs of diverse communities.

The journey continues, with each partner nation actively participating in the ongoing pilot phase, ensuring that the project’s impact continues to be felt across borders. If you don’t follow the project Facebook page yet, do it and discover more about the project activities!
